· The power points themselves are left free for use
· The look is more streamlined and tidy
· Bedside tables can sit closer to the wall if your phone charger is plugged in behind it.
Often though people haven’t thought about some of the other ways these types of power points can be used. For example, they are handy not just for phones and tablets, but also for digital cameras, electric shavers…anything that has a USB charger.
I also often find when discussing USB power points with my Canberra customers that they haven’t thought about where they might like these handy gadgets installed beyond the bedroom. Many times after a chat we realise that the customer tends to charge their phone in the lounge room whilst watching TV at night, or the kitchen whilst cooking dinner, or the bathroom where the phone is doubling up as a radio in the morning. The beauty of USB power points is that they can be installed anywhere.
There is a risk that technology will change, but I can’t see that happening any time soon…and for current chargers and gadgets USB power points are hard to beat. As one of our favourite customers said just the other day: “they’re the epitome of modern day convenience!”
